Well hello there!
My name is Jonathan Lee, I'm currently located in Florence, SC, where I’m a freelance graphic designer, painter and illustrator. I graduated from The Art Institute of Charleston in 2016 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic & Web Design with a Concentration in Graphic Design. I'm also currently enrolled at Francis Marion University to receive a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing Strategy and Digital Marketing, where I'm expected to graduate in December of 2024.
From a very young age, I knew that I was meant to be a creator. I was constantly creating flashy, elaborate websites, teaching myself everything I wanted to learn in Photoshop to my hearts content. I was also working on my hand lettering and illustration skills on the side through boredom in classes.
Using illustrations, typography and texture, I love to create expressive designs. When I create, I mostly use free hand pen work. I love hand lettering or creating abstract atmospheres, mostly inspired by music or my feelings. I’ve used art as a way to escape, and I find my escape in creating those atmospheres and focusing on fine details within each piece. Whenever someone looks at my artwork, I want to inspire their imagination so they can have their own unique experience. I also love creating digital art in Photoshop, combining photographic elements with brushes and effects. No matter what, I'm always creating an emotion-filled atmosphere, where I can push myself to make something even more incredible.
